a few things to note.
Good to know
- Kenting
- No departures on Mondays or Tuesdays; includes a nighttime ecology activity and outdoor walking
- Yushan
- Farm and craft activities require booking; the Walami trailhead visit depends on weather and road conditions
- Yangmingshan
- Generally Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays only; participants must be able to manage steps and short mountain trails
- Taroko
- Dekalun Trail takes about 3 hours; basic outdoor walking fitness required
- Shei-Pa
- Mountain shuttles and accommodation must be confirmed in advance; note that the Erbensong Visitor Information Station is closed on Mondays
- Kinmen
- Includes an early-morning activity on Mt. Taiwu; flights, the wine cellar and experiences must be confirmed in advance
- Taijiang
- No departures on Mondays; participants must be at least 3 years old, and boat rides depend on water levels and weather
- Penghu
- Departures generally April–September; water activities are limited to ages 4–65 and subject to sailings and sea conditions
- Shoushan
- No departures on Mondays; the Guishan Trail is about 890 meters, and Jiancheng Hall and lunch require reservations
