Kenting is more than sunshine and beaches — it also has rice paddies, wetlands, coral reef coastline, village culture, and rich nighttime wildlife. This 3-day, 2-night journey starts at THSR Zuoying Station and links Longshui Community, the Kenting National Park Visitor Center, Eluanbi, Shuiwaku, Shanhai Community, the Hengchun Folk Song Museum, and the Sea View Art Museum by coach and on foot.

The new itinerary centers on rural experiences, coastal scenery, a night walk to see sika deer, and local culture, letting travelers discover the natural and cultural landscapes of the Hengchun Peninsula through its fields, tables, villages, and art.

Into the Fields of Longshui

Enjoy a community meal, make red tortoise cakes, dig for clams, and join a guided organic rice paddy tour to learn about rural ecology on the Hengchun Peninsula.

Visit the Southernmost Lighthouse

Explore Eluanbi Park and Eluanbi Lighthouse, taking in the coral reef coast and southern sea views.

Sika Deer Under the Stars

Join a nighttime ecology activity in Shuiwaku Community, observing sika deer and their nocturnal habitat from a safe distance.

The Kenting National Park Headquarters Visitor Center is closed on Mondays and the Sea View Art Museum is closed on Tuesdays, so this tour does not depart on Mondays or Tuesdays.
Longshui Community, the sika deer night walk, and the Shanhai Community guided walk all require advance booking; actual content may vary with host partners and conditions on the day.
The clam-digging activity is for observation and experience only; clams may not be taken off-site.
For the nighttime ecology activity, please wear long pants and closed-toe, non-slip shoes, and bring insect repellent; follow your guide's instructions and do not chase or feed wildlife.
Outdoor activities will be adjusted according to weather, road, and safety conditions; in heavy rain, strong winds, or site closures, the order or stops may change.
